Ground-breaking ceremony of the Balaram-Tara Energy Block 28 ‘A’ was held on August 1, 2021 at Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel. The ceremony marked the construction of the 325-meter square which is planned to be completed by February 8, 2022. The building is designed by KU – Center for Educational Design (CED).

The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa, Registrar Prof. Dr. Subodh Sharma and Prof. Dr. Manish Pokharel, Dean of School of Engineering and other delegates were present in the ceremony.
