Kathmandu University upon the approval of the 713th meeting of the Executive Council, on the recommendation of the Dean of School of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug has been awarded the "Kathmandu University Chair of Innovation and Knowledge Transfer".

The felicitation program, held at CV Raman Auditorium at Kathmandu University on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, served as a testament to Prof. Dr. Dahlhaug's remarkable dedication to innovation and knowledge transfer. The program commenced with the warm welcome by Dr. Biraj Singh Thapa, Associate Professor, School of Engineering followed by the introduction of Prof. Dr. Dahlhaug by Mr. Brijesh Adhikary, Associate Dean, School of Engineering. The certificate was handed over to Prof. Dr. Dahlhaug by Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa, Vice-Chancellor while Prof. Dr. Achyut Prasad Wagle, Registrar had read the letter of Award.

Prof. Dr. Dahlhaug shared his remarks and appreciated Kathmandu University for awarding this prestigious position to him. He also shared his vision and commitment to further strengthen the quality of research at KU and bring the knowledge and expertise for the industrial adoption and job creation in Nepal.
