Endowment Agreement signed between Prof. Dr. Ramesh Prasad Singh and Kathmandu University

Prof. Dr. Ramesh Prasad Singh has contributed to the Kathmandu University Endowment Drive by contributing a generous donation of NPR 20, 00, 000 (NPR Two Million) amidst a signing ceremony held at the office of Vice-Chancellor on the 4 July 2022. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor along with several senior officials and was coordinated by Prof. Bibhuti Ranjan Jha.

As specified by the donor, the purpose of the establishment of the endowment fund is to present a gold medal to the best MS Orthopedics student at the university and to grant a scholarship to the worthy student as determined by the institution. As per the terms of the agreement, 50% of the interest from the fund would be added annually to the main fund, 30% would be utilized to provide gold medals to the top MS Orthopedics student and 20 % would be used to provide scholarship to the deserving student as decided by the university.
