Dr. Gunjan Bisht Thapa, Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the Department of Natural Science (DONS) and Ms. Sanjila Neupane, Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, got a paper published entitled “Impact of Brick Kilns’ Emission on Soil Quality of Agriculture Fields in the Vicinity of Selected Bhaktapur Area of Nepal” in the Applied and Environmental Soil Science (Hindawi, Sccopus indexed) [Volume 2015 (2015), Article ID 409401, doi: 10.1155/2015/409401]

This research article deals with the evaluation of soil quality and impact of brick kilns’ emission on different physicochemical parameters of soils of agricultural field, located in the vicinity of Bhaktapur, Nepal. The study was carried out by determining the physicochemical characteristics of soil, soil fertility, and heavy metal contamination of soil.
