Dr.
Rabindra Bista, Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and
Engineering (DOCSE), and Mr. Anmol Shakya, a graduate student at DOCSE,
presented a paper in the 9thInternational Conference on Advanced
Computing and Communication Technologies (ICACCT-2015), held on 27-29
November 2015 at Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT),
Panipat, Haryana, India.
The
paper was based on a project carried out by Mr. Shakya under Dr. Bista’s
supervision. The same was published as “Randomized Distance Based Clustering Algorithm for Energy Efficient
Wireless Sensor Networks.”
The paper proposed a new method and claimed of it being more
efficient than the existing approaches in enhancing the life-time of
Wireless Sensor Networks.
