Dr. Eak Prasad Duwadi, Associate Professor of English, HR and GM Department, KUSOM has contributed his research article “When Fluency Masks Error: Generative AI, Cognitive Dependency, and Verification Literacy in Multilingual Higher Education” in the first volume of NIET Journal of Discourse, Technology, and Society (NJDTS) which addresses ‘Dialectic and the Digital: Language, Literature, and Culture in the Age of Generative Artificial Intelligence’. This journal issue has been launched and published in Volume 1 (2026). This issue provides a much-needed forum for scholarly discourse on the complex implications of large language models for society and education. Dr. Duwadi’s research article explores the role of generative artificial intelligence in multilingual higher education, with a focus on cognitive dependency and verification literacy.
