Dr. Rabindra Bista, Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DOCSE), presented a paper in the Second International Conference on Interdisciplinary Research in Engineering, Management, Pharmacy and Science (ICIREMPS 2K15) held during 19-22 February, 2015 at Sagar Society of Interdisciplinary Research & Technology, Bhopal, India.
The paper was based on a thesis carried out by Mr. Samyo Dev Yadav, a graduate student at DOCSE, under Dr. Bista’s supervision. The same was published in Mr. Deeyoranjan Dongol’s and Mr. Yadav’s authorships, with the title “Choosing an Appropriate Software Development Process Model.”
In his presentation, Dr. Bista highlighted scrum as an effective software process model for small- and medium-size software companies in Nepal.
Similarly, Mr. Nabin Raj Dahal, a graduate student at DOCSE, presented a paper in the same conference (ICIREMPS 2K15). The paper was based on a thesis carried out by Mr. Sambhu Prasad Khanal, a graduate student at DOCSE, under Dr. Bista’s supervision. The same was published in Dr. Bista’s and Mr. Khanal’s authorships, with the title “Fault Tolerance in Preserving Privacy and Assuring Integrity in Wireless Sensor Networks.”
In his presentation, Mr. Dahal highlighted reliable data collection with preserving privacy and protecting integrity in wireless sensor networks.
Among four hundred fifty nine (459) papers accepted in the conference, the paper entitled “Fault Tolerance in Preserving Privacy and Assuring Integrity in Wireless Sensor Networks” could make a place within only best nine (9) papers which were selected for journal publication in Journal of Engineering, Management & Pharmaceutical Sciences (JEMPS) (ISSN 0976-8416 Volume: 5 Issue: I Pages 6-13).
