DoME Receives Project Approval in Erasmus+ Program

T The project is under the section KA2-Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practice of the action ‘Capacity Building in Higher Education’, called Erasmus + (Ref: EAC-A04-2014).

The main objectives of this project are to:

  • Develop a new Master program on Energy Efficient Building Technique (EEBT);
  • Support existing Master programs through development of laboratory facilities and establishment of new courses;
  • Graduate Masters in EEBT who can meet the market needs of the partner countries in order to establish sustainable energy development and efficient energy practices;
  • Improve exchange of advanced knowledge in EEB.

The major responsibility of Kathmandu University in the overall project is to support for the development of new Master courses in EEBT, develop and enhance laboratory facilities with manual and maintenance schedule, teaching tools and techniques.

The project is being handled by DoME. Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa, Registrar, Dr. Hari Prasad Neopane, Head of DoME, and Mr. Sailesh Chitrakar, PhD Fellow at Turbine Testing Lab, are the contact persons for KU.
