DoCSE and Abacus Insights Signed MoU to Enhance Academia/Industry Collaboration

Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Kathmandu University Signed Memorandum of Understanding with Abacus Insights Nepal Pvt. Ltd. on January 29, 2026 to enhance Academia/Industry Collaboration. The MoU bridges a collaboration for internship placement of undergraduate students of Computer Science and Computer Engineering students. MoU also fosters the collaboration via workshop and curriculum development, guest lectures, industry insight and knowledge sharing to the undergraduate students.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Ankita Shrestha, Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, Abacus Insights, Barsha Bista, Director, People & Culture - APAC (Witness), and Er. Pankaj Raj Dawadi, PhD, Acting Head of Department, DoCSE, Mr. Sanjog Sigdel (WItness), DoCSE. The MoU was signed in the presence of Mr. Prakash Aryal, General Manager, Abacus Insights, Mahesh Regmee, VP, Client Data Engineering, Abacus Insights, Mr. Trailokya Ojha, Program Co-ordinator, Computer Engineering, DoCSE and Mr. Gobinda Subedi, Lecturer, DoCSE.
