KU is now looking for committed, competent, and qualified Nepali professionals to take up full time contract faculty positions for the programs of its School of Management (KUSOM), the leader B-School in Nepal. As the leader in management education, the School has an ambitious plan to grow and expand as a provider of quality undergraduate and graduate management programs as well as research, training, and consulting services. The selected faculty will share and shoulder the challenging responsibility for implementing this growth plan while continuously growing in their career in a highly professional environment.

Position: LECTURER/ ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Work Station: SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT, Balkumari, and KU CENTRAL CAMPUS, Dhulikhel

Disciplinary Areas: General Management (including Strategy, Communications, and Ethics); HR and OB; Entrepreneurship; Finance; Accounting; Marketing; International Business; Information Technology

Eligibility Requirements

• Lecturer: MBA or Master’s Degree in related discipline with first division or equivalent from recognized university

OR

     MPhil/ PhD in relevant discipline from recognized university

• Assistant Professor: MBA or Master’s Degree in related discipline with first division or equivalent from recognized university + Minimum two years regular teaching at undergraduate level or above and/or substantive research in related disciplines and/or industry experience in the related specialization area in managerial or professional role.

OR

MPhil or PhD in relevant discipline from recognized university and minimum one year regular teaching at undergraduate level or above and/or            substantive research in related disciplines and/or industry experience in the related specialization area in managerial or professional role.

Expected Competencies

• Professional level communication skills in English (both spoken and writing)

• Creative and committed engagements and plans in management education and research
