Call for applications - Scholarship (tuition fees support) for 1 MS by Research Degree position in Mechanical Engineering, Specialization on Energy Economics and Policy, School of Engineering (SOE), Kathmandu University (KU)

Kathmandu University, School of Engineering (SOE) is currently running the Master’s Program in Planning and Operation of Energy System (MPPOES) under the support of NORAD (Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation) fellowship program.Currently, total of 20 (Twenty) Masters Students and 2 (Two) PhD fellow are enrolled in the program. To complement the existing program initiatives, and initiate research & development activities in the field of energy sector, SOE, KU is planning to start Masters by Research Degree in Mechanical Engineering Specialization on Energy Economics and Policy focused on hydropower development in Nepal. The research degree program is partially funded (tuition fees support for two years) by KU There is a possibility for deserving candidate to take part in teaching and assisting related courses at KU not exceeding 20 hours a week in order to cover minimum living expenses. Additional research fund will seek jointly once the program start.
