IN
PHARMD (POST BACCALAUREATE) PROGRAM
Kathmandu University, School of Science, Dhulikhel, Kavre announces admission open in PharmD (Post Baccalaureate) program, a masters equivalent course, that prepares students for delivering efficient healthcare services to patients.This program aims to produce pharmacists with following abilities and skills:
providing patient centered care as a medication expert
delivering patient care services through the evaluation of medication orders and prescriptions, prospective pharmacy review, dispensing of medications
providing drug information and education and developing critical thought processes relative to drug information
promoting public health and designing prevention, intervention, and educational strategies for individuals and communities to improve health and wellness
Eligibility for Admission: Students with four years BPharm degree with minimum CGPA of 2.5 or an equivalent of 50% marks can apply for admission.
Course Duration: 3 years.
Application Form Distribution: Application form can be collected from Department of Pharmacy, Kathmandu University from January 20 in between 10:00 am to 3:00 pm during working days.
Last date of application form submission: February 06, 2015

Date: February 10, 2015, Time: 10:00 – 11:00 am, Venue: Department of Pharmacy, Kathmandu University
Interview: February 13, 2015
Note: There is provision of partial scholarship for economically deserving and academically sound Nepalese students under Formula Funding Program of UGC Nepal.
