Admissions Open for Undergraduate Program
Kathmandu University, School of Arts announces opening of admissions for a four-year undergraduate program in BACHELOR IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT for the Fall Session of 2013.
The
program emphasizes on:
Developing an understanding of communities in rural, urban, regional and global contexts;
Building expertise required to work at different governmental, non-governmental, and international agencies;
Building qualitative and critical skills in core elements of community-related issues; and
Generating skills in communicating effectively with individuals, families, and communities.
The program is highly participatory and practice-oriented and the students are expected to take leadership in field related activities as well as in class discussions.
Applicants must have 10+2 or equivalent degree in any discipline
from a recognized institution with minimum aggregate score of Applicants who have passed Class XI and are waiting
for Class XII results can also apply for a provisional admission. However,
they will have to produce the proof of having passed the exam before the commencement
of the course.
