Admission Announcement
Bachelor in Media Studies

The program is conducted at the Department of Languages and Mass Communication, Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel. The Department also manages short-term courses in Chinese and Korean languages for the interested students.

Eligibility for Admission: Applicants must have 10+2 or equivalent degree in any discipline  from a recognized institution with at least second division (45%) marks.
                                        Applicants with GSCE A-level must have at-least three A-level subjects with atmost one 'E' in any one of the subject.

Application form, admission brochure and sample questions are available from 20 July 2011 at Yamaji Block (Block 11), Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel (between 10.00 am and 3.pm on working days), with payment of Rs. 1000.00 (non-refundable). The form should be submitted to the Department of Languages and Mass Communication, Dhulikhel. Entrance admission card will be issued after verification of the original certificates.

Last date for submission of the completed application:  8 August 2011
Admission Test:9 August 2011 (Applicants must appear the admission test.)
Interview: 11 August 2011 (Only short-listed applicants will be called for personal interview.)

Students who have passed Class 11 and are waiting for the Class 12 results can also apply.

Orientation on 22 August 2011 and the Class begins from 23 August 2011.
