Admission Open for 2023 August Intake (Bachelor and Masters)

Kathmandu University School of Arts announces the opening of admissions for the following programs for 2023 August intake:

Undergraduate Programs:

Eligibility for Bachelor programs: a minimum of 1.6 GPA or 40% equivalent in grade 12 or equivalent qualification (applicants with transcripts issued by NEB before 2022 should have minimum of 2 GPA or 45%).

GCE Advanced Level students should have passed minimum three subjects in A Level and one General Paper in AS Level. IB Level students should have passed all 6 courses with minimum 4 in each and have at least 28 marks in aggregate.

Graduate Programs:

 Eligibility for Master Programs: a minimum of 2 CGPA out of 4 or 45% or second division marks in aggregate in their bacelor degree.

Scholarships:

 Several scholarships are available in bachelor programs such as merit-based scholarship for semester toppers, need-based scholarship for students from low income families, and one Lalitpur Metropolitan Quota Scholarship in each program.

Master level programs offer scholarships to 20 percent admitted students under the UGC  Formula Funding Scheme.

Reserved seats: 10% of the total approved seats are for foreign students. Similarly, another 10 percent of the seats are for students under inclusion category.

Note: students waiting for the results of their final year or semester examination of their qualifying degree can apply for provisional admission.
