UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS

DOCUMENT VERIFICATION AND ADMISSION NOTICE

This is to notify that applicants indicated in the attached program-wise admission lists are selected for document verification and admission in the undergraduate programs of School of Science and School of Engineering of Kathmandu University. Selected applicants are required to contact concerned department for document verification and admission from September 1 to 5, 2016 between 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Procedure for Document Verification and Admission (Candidates are required to strictly follow the sequence):

1. Appear in person in the concerned department with original documents (with copies) and admit card; get the documents verified.

2. Complete the admission and registration forms.

3. Pay the required fees to Kathmandu University’s Account at any branch of the following banks:

Fee for admission in Engineering or Pharmacy Program: NRs. 118,000 (one hundred eighteen thousand only); Fee for admission in other programs: NRs. 117,000 (one hundred seventeen thousand only). Do not pay the fees before the document verification.

4. Submit the concerned department 3 recent photos (PP-size), proof/voucher of payment, copies of the academic certificates, transcripts, and citizenship certificate.

NOTES:

• In the event that erroneous information or invalid documents have been provided by the applicant, intentionally or otherwise, the applicant will be automatically rejected.

• Candidates should complete the admission process by September 05, 2016. Request for the extension of the deadline will not be considered.

• Unfilled seats, if any, will be offered to the alternative candidates. Please follow the KU website for subsequent verification and admission lists.

• The bank at KU will be open till 3:00 PM on working days except Friday.

• Candidates willing to withdraw from the programs, with 70% admission fee refund after admission, are required to submit the withdrawal admission by September 14, 2016, 03:00 PM
