A team led by Vice Chancellor of Kathmandu University Prof. Dr. Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha has visited UK to attend the Graduation ceremony of Engineering students at University of Nottingham.
The team was comprised of Dr. Bim Prasad Shrestha from School of Engineering, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Koju from School of Medical Science of Kathmandu University and Mr. Narayan Gopal Malego from Ministry of Education of Government of Nepal. During the program there was exchange of opinion between the two Vice Chancellors of Universities and also exchanged the Memorandum of Understanding. The team visited Queen`s Medical College and Engineering college of University Nottingham to explore the areas of mutual collaboration.
After the graduation program in Nottingham, The Vice Chancellor met with Director of British Council Dr. Jo Bealla in London that was organized by Foreign and Commonwealth Office of Government of UK.
Later the team also visited British Army camp at Warwickshire and shared the out of mutual research carried out between University of Nottingham and Kathmandu University to be made available for Queen’s Gurakha Army. The program was highlighted and broadcasted in BBC and ITV,
