Prof. Dr. Janardan Lamichhane has been appointed as a Dean of the School of Science. A formal program was organized by the School of Science family on February 20, 2022 to welcome the newly appointed Dean, and to bid farewell to former Dean Prof. Dr. Kanhaiya Jha. The program was anchored by the Associate Dean Dr. Bed Mani Dahal. After the program, the former Dean handed over the Dean office/documents to the newly appointed Dean.

Mr. Agni Prasad Nepal, a scholar of Ph.D. in Environmental Science at the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering has successfully defended his dissertation entitled "Sustainable Small-Scale Aquaculture for Rural Livelihoods in the Mid-Hills of Nepal", on Thursday, February 17, 2022.
