Biography

Dr. Rajesh Sharma is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM). He has a Doctoral degree in Management with specialization in Accounting and Finance from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy and Master in Mathematical Finance from University of Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne, France. He joined KUSOM in the year 2022 and teaches Corporate Finance, Financial Engineering and Risk Management, Accounting for Managerial Decisions to MBA/EMBA students and Applied Econometric, Advance Econometrics and Research Seminar in Finance to MPhil/PhD students. Dr. Sharma has a wide experience in Nepalese private sector and is interested in researching the significance of firms’ CSR/sustainability activities with a particular focus on topics related to Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs), which are argued to “…. provide a global blueprint for dignity, peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and in the future”.
