Biography

Laxman Luitel is an educator, researcher, and academic lecturer specializing in Mathematics and STEAM Education. He completed an MPhil and MEd in Mathematics Education from Kathmandu University, where his research focuses on transformative pedagogies, curriculum studies, and assessment. With extensive teaching experience across K–12 settings and higher education, he has designed curricula, facilitated professional development programs, and contributed to innovative STEAM-based learning approaches. Mr. Luitel currently serves as an Academic Lecturer in the Department of STEAM Education at Kathmandu University School of Education, where he teaches, supervises research, and engages in academic development initiatives. He has presented his work in national and international conferences, published multiple peer-reviewed articles, and contributed to curriculum innovation projects in Nepal. His professional interests include transformative learning, teacher education, STEAM education, ICT-integrated pedagogy, and mathematics curriculum reform.
