After my PhD in 2018, I worked as a full-time lecturer at Kathmandu University School of Education (KUSOED). Since 2017, I have been employed at Tribhuvan University in Nepal's Central Department of Education as an assistant professor. I taught foundational courses at the post-graduate level, such as ‘Education and Development’ and ‘Research Methodology’. I also taught the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) courses ‘Philosophy and Theory of Education’ and ‘Diversity in Education’ at the Graduate School of Education (GSE), TU, which offers MPhil and PhD programs. In addition, I worked as a visiting faculty member at KUSOED for about ten years, teaching courses in education and development studies. More precisely, I instruct students in the following courses: "Indigenous Education," "Fundamentals of Sustainable Development," and "Theory and Practice in Education" for Master and MPhil programs. Since August 2024, I have been appointed as an Associate Professor in Kathmandu University School of Education.
