She earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from New Mexico State University with a major in Educational Learning Technology and a minor in Biology. She has master’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety Management from The University of Findlay from Findlay, Ohio and in Botany (Plant Biochemistry and Biotechnology) from Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur, Nepal.
