Biography

Uren Amatya is a Lecturer and serves as an Instructor of Maintenance Engineering and Metrology in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Kathmandu University. He received his M.Sc. Engineering in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Degree from the Institute of Engineering at Tribhuvan University and B. E. in Mechanical Engineering Degree from Kathmandu Univerisity. Starting his professional career as Production Section Chief at Himal Iron and Steel Pvt. Ltd., he has also worked as Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineer on The Subproject of Reconstruction of Paropakar Maternity and Women's Hospital and Bir Hospital under the supervision of Hazama Ando Corporation and JICA.
