Young scientist award from the then late Rt. Hon. Prime Minister of Nepal, Mr. Sushil Koirala on 6 December 2014 for the contribution to investigate the effect of sediment erosion in hydropower turbines, and to develop an optimization technique for minimization of the effect of sediment erosion in Nepalese hydropower turbines. This award is conferred from Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) annually up to five young scientists of the country below forty years of age, as recognition of their endeavor and dedication in their field of expertise
