Biography

Dr. Anish Ghimire has more than 8 years of research and project experience in waste(water) treatment. He was an Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctoral Fellow of Environmental Technologies for Solids, Soil and Sediments (ETeCoS3) program at UNESCO-IHE, the Netherlands, University of Paris-Est, France and University of Lazio in Italy. He has received PhD in Environmental Technology (2015). He completed his Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering and Management from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand (2012) and Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Engineering from Kathmandu University, Nepal (2009). His research interest is in biological processes for waste(water) treatment and resource recovery especially via application of anaerobic fermentation process, process monitoring, modeling and environmental biotechnology. Dr. Ghimire, a registered engineer in Nepal Engineering Council have authored more than 20 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and five book chapters. His research impact can be seen on GoogleScholar. Besides, he has been actively serving as a reviewer for more than 22 international peer-reviewed journals which can be seen on Publons.
