Biography

Dr. Adhikari was a board member of UGC-Nepal (2017-2021) and Assistant professor at department of environmental science and engineering, Kathmandu University. He is also a member of environmental assessment review committee at National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) chaired by Prime Minister since 2017 and member of committee of Policy Co-ordination for Technical & Vocational Education and Training (CTEVT) chaired by Education Minister since 2016. He has been involved in many projects launched by Government of Nepal and ADB as an environmental consultant. Dr. Adhikari holds an experience of more than 10 years in the field of Research, Consulting and Teaching, Bioengineering, Alternative Energy Technology, Environmental Assessment, Environmental Technology. He has published a text book in municipal solid waste engineering for graduate and undergraduate level and more than 20 research papers in national and international peer review journals. He holds B.Tech degree in Environmental Engineering from Kathmandu University, M.Sc in Environment Engineering from Tribhuwan University, I.O.E Pulchowk Campus and Ph.D in Environmental Science from Kathmandu University.
