Biography

Mr. C.N. Khadga, s/o Shree Sahadev and Smt. Rambati Devi Khadga, a permanent resident of Lilja, Hanumannagar of Saptari district in Nepal, was born in a lower class farmer family. The youngest among six brothers and a sister, though born on 9th Ashwin 2028 BS, the Ashwin Shukla Shhashhthi tithi (September 25, 1971), the date of birth was registered in the governmental Nabalak Register (Teens Register) as BS 2027 Shrawan 12th i.e., 27 July 1970.

Along with supporting the parents in agriculture and animal husbandry, struggling with poverty, started Primary education in Shree Lilja Thakur Rastriya Prathamik Vidyalaya, Hanumannagar and completed Secondary level (SLC) from Shree Mahavir Secondary School, Hanumannagar in BS 2043 with Second division.

Though only a primary graduate, father, on self study, was also practicing medicine which supported survival as well as education of we 6 children (the eldest brother, Master Chaturanand, expired at the infant age of 3 months only).

Motivated with father's additional profession, and guided by Shree Nawal Kishor Sah, presently the Minister for Social Welfare in Province No. 2, went to Madhubani of India (a nearby educational hub) for further education and joined I.Sc. (Biology) in Ram Krishna College in 1987 AD.

Unfortunately, father expired just within one and half month of joining the college, and mother also followed him after 10 months. Elder brothers supported for higher studies.

Passed I.Sc. in Second division in 1990 under the Bihar Intermediate Education Council, Patna, and graduated with B.Sc. (Honours) Zoology with First Class in 1993 under the Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga. Due to delayed calendar of the university, lost 2 years for final examination and result, and got the degree in 1995 only.

After graduation, came back home capital and joined M.Sc. at Tribhuban University, Central Department of Zoology, Kirtipur. But due to poor economic condition, compelled to discontinue study and joined DAV Kedia Vishwa Bharati, Nepal, Kalimati (Kathmandu), a sister organisation of the Kedia organization, a reputed business conglomirate of Nepal and started my service career from coordination, planning and corporate management of DAV Schools in Nepal. Also played key role in establishment of MB Kedia Dental College, Birganj, RM Kedia Diabetes Hospital, Kalimati and Maharaja Agrasen College of Management, Birganj. Similarly, also worked and managed all preliminary ground works for establishment of Brijlal Kedia Hindu University, Birganj. But unfortunately the government didn't passed its bill of establishment.

After 10 and half years of service at Kedia Organisation, joined Kathmandu University on BS 2062 Chaitra 11, through an open competition and due selection procedure. Appointed as Office Secretary at the Office of the Registrar but served at the Office of the Vice-Chancellor for almost 3 years. Then transferred to Procurement Section where served as Procurement Officer for almost 4 years. Transferred to the Technical Training Center where served almost for 3 years and contributed in establishment of labs and operation of various training courses. Worked for arround one and half years at the Registration Unit of KU and there after transferred to the School of Science where presently looking after administration and management of the school.
