View all programsBirendra Vaidya, a resident of Bhaktapur, is a Lecturer at Kathmandu University. He holds M.Phil degree (2013 AD) from Tribhuvan University. He teaches a number of courses, including Marketing, Business Management, and International Business to the Bachelor of Business Information System (BBIS) program of Kathmandu University. Furthermore, he is also involved in teaching courses such as Entrepreneurship Development, Engineering Economy, and Engineering Management, offered by the School of Science and School of Engineering.
Before joining Kathmandu University, he had worked as an Assistant Professor for more than half decade at Khwopa College. He had also served as a Business Promotion Officer at the Industrial Enterprise Development Institute from 2015 AD to 2018 AD. Besides, he is a sports enthusiast and has a passion for promoting sports in Nepal. Notably, he successfully coordinated the first ever Futsal Tournament in Nepal, which received widespread acclaim.
Currently, he is pursuing a PhD from Nepal Open University as a scholar of PhD pioneer batch. His research focuses on entrepreneurial marketing and effectuation dimensions for promoting entrepreneurship in Nepal. He is deeply dedicated to his work and is committed to making a positive impact in his field.
