One of the unique programs of this project is an International Master in TVET Management in Kathmandu University, Nepal. This two-year academic program is expected to begin in 2018 and will provide high quality international education to 25 students from Nepal and from other countries. The program is designed mainly to address the shortage of competent human resource who could provide a dynamic leadership and management to the subsector in many countries, particularly the developing countries. Hence the main objective of this program is to contribute to build a strong pool of TVET based human resource who could understand the subsector in wider national and international context as well as in local context with all its complexities, problems, and also in terms of opportunities and prospects. Hence, this academic program is not a skill training program but a program that works towards preparing its graduates who could work as TVET planner, TVET manager, TVET economic analyst, TVET instructor, TVET curriculum developer, etc. The graduates will thus have expertise in TVET as well as in their specific area of specialization.
