The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Communication, Automation and Power Networking Conference 2024 (KU CAP-24) on 4 December 2024. The conference was attended by eighty-seven participants and included the keynote speeches from Ms. Roja Kiran Basukala, Deputy Director of NTA and Prof. Dr. Sambeet Mishra from USN, Norway. The technical sessions were done in parallel where the communication systems session was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nanda Bikram Adhikari, IOE Pulchowk Campus and Power and Automation session was chaired by Mr. Rakesh Gwachha, Head of Department of Electrical Engineering, Khwopa College of Engineering. Both the technical sessions included eight oral presentations each whose presenters ranged from undergraduate, postgraduate, industrialists and KU alumnis. The core organizing team for the conferece comprised Prof. Bhupendra Bimal Chhetri (Advsior), Prof. Dr. Ram Kaji Budhathoki (Chair, Expert Communication) , Dr. Diwakar Bista (Expert Automation) and Dr. Samundra Gurung (Coordinator, Expert Power). The conference provided a great opportunity for learning experience as well as for networking opportunities.
