Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Kathmandu University organized a seminar on Software Engineering and Project Management on June 1, 2025.

In the program Mr. Rabin Panthi (Senior Project Manager, Infinite Computer Solutions) delivered his keynote speech on the topic ‘Project Management Trends in Software Engineering’. Similarly, Mr. Bijay Shrestha, (Sr. Software Developer and an Entrepreneur) delivered his technical talk on ‘Software Engineering and Challenges of Entrepreneurship in the Field of Information Technologies’. Mr. Ayush Paudel (Software Engineer) who is also a recent graduate from DoCSE delivered his technical talk on ‘The Software Engineering: Theory vs Reality’. We also had a very interactive QA session with these valued speakers for different software industries. The program was attained by the faculties of DoCSE, final year undergraduate students of Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Computational Mathematics programs at Kathmandu University.

The HoD, Dr. Pankaj Raj Dawadi delivered his vote of thanks and presented a token of love to the keynote speaker and other guest speakers. He emphasized that events like this have helped our students get closer insights of the software development practices in the software industries.
