Candidates are required to appear in the Kathmandu University Common Admission Test (KUCAT), in either PCM or PCB, according to their choice of academic program. The Entrance Exam will be conducted in the mode of Computer Based Test (CBT).

10+2 level (or equivalent) with a minimum aggregate GPA of 2.0 (50% in percentage scale) and grade C individually in each course.

OR,

Minimum 50% in aggregate and minimum 50% in aggregate of PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics)

  • BE (Computer Engineering)
  • BE (Geomatics Engineering)
  • BSc (Computer Science)
  • BArch (Architecture)
  • BSc (Computational Mathematics)

10+2 level (or equivalent) with a minimum aggregate GPA of 2.0 (50% in percentage scale) and grade C individually in each course.

OR,

Minimum 50% in aggregate and minimum 50% in aggregate of PCM or PMCs (Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science)

  • BTech (Biotechnology)
  • BSc (Environmental Science)

10+2 level (or equivalent) with a minimum aggregate GPA of 2.0 (50% in percentage scale) and grade C individually in each course.

OR,

Minimum 50% in aggregate and minimum 50% in aggregate of PCM or PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)

  • BSc (Agriculture)

10+2 level (or equivalent) with a minimum aggregate GPA of 2.0 (50% in percentage scale) and grade C individually in each course.

OR,

Minimum 50% in aggregate and minimum 50% in aggregate of PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)

Online application starts on October 15, 2020 and ends on November 03, 2020

Application forms are to be filled online only.

Admit Card for the KUCAT-CBT can be printed ONLINE.

Application processing fee of NRs 1500/- is to be deposited at following Account:

Account Name: Kathmandu University, Account No.: 00501030250009, Nepal Investment Bank Ltd.

Fee can also be submitted through eSewa and Khalti Digital Wallet.

Students who have passed Grade 11 and are awaiting Grade 12 exams and results can also apply on a provisional basis.
