A “Seminar on Higher Education Opportunities in Japan” was held at Kathmandu University in Dhulikhel on November 26, 2019.
The seminar, which was mainly directed at KU students who are thinking of going abroad for further studies, was organized by the University of Tokyo in collaboration with the University of Tokyo Alumni Association of Nepal (UTAAN), and Kathmandu University. The University of Tokyo is the primary lead for the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT)’s Study in Japan Global Network Project in South West Asia.
Several Nepalese alumni and current students at Japanese educational institutions, and representatives from Japanese Embassy, UTAAN, Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), the University of Tokyo, KU, and the University of Aizu spoke about various educational opportunities for students in Japan.
