Ms. Ekku Maya Pun gave the opening remarks, which set a positive tone for the day. Brief messages exposing the students to KU's academic and social environment were also given by administrative representatives and student leaders from the Student Welfare Council.

The new batch got some great advice from the Heads of Departments and program coordinators, such as Dr. C.P. Aryal (BCD Coordinator), Dr. Santosh Adhikari (HoD, Economics), and Prof. Dr. Nirmala Mani Adhikary (HoD, Department of Languages and Mass Communication).

The program concluded with closing remarks by Dr. Uddhab Pyakurel, Dean of the School of Arts, followed by an interactive Q&A session and Hi-Tea.
