Ms. Menila Kharel, a scholar of Ph.D. in Environmental Science at the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering has successfully defended her dissertation entitled "Good Agricultural Practices: Farmers' Adoption, Impacts on Soil Health and Vegetable Production Economics in Mid-Hills, Nepal" on April 13, 2025. Ms. Kharel has completed her Ph.D. research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bed Mani Dahal and Co-supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Nani Raut.

The Ph.D. Defense Seminar (Viva) was evaluated by an Evaluation Committee chaired by the Associate Dean Prof. Dr. Ujjwal Man Joshi, the supervisor Prof. Dr. Bed Mani Dahal, Head of Department Prof. Dr. Kumud Raj Kafle, External Examiner Prof. Dr. Krishna Raj Tiwari, Dean's Nominee Prof. Dr. Deepak Kumar Gautam and VC's Nominee Dr. Puspa Raj Poudel.

The final approval of the Ph.D. degree will be done after the incorporation of the comments and suggestions provided by the Evaluation Committee.
