Mr. Kiran Kumar Shrestha, a student of M.Phil. by Research in Statistics at the Department of Mathematics has successfully defended his dissertation entitled "Estimation of Risk Management Practice of a Hydropower Project in Nepal", on Friday, February 11, 2022. Mr. Shrestha has completed his M.Phil. Research under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rabindra Kayastha.

The M.Phil. Defense Seminar (Viva) was evaluated by an Evaluation Committee chaired by the Dean Prof. Dr. Kanhaiya Jha, HoD Prof. Dr. Dil Bahadur Gurung, External Examiner Prof. Dr. Shankar Prasad Khanal (TU), Internal Examiner Dr. Dhiraj Giri (Dean’s Nominee) and the supervisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rabindra Kayastha. The M.Phil. Defense Seminar (Viva) was organized at C.V. Raman Auditorium, Dhulikhel.
