Mr. Ajay Kumar K.C., a scholar of Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering at the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering has successfully defended his dissertation entitled "Life Cycle Assessment of Nepalese Buildings" on April 4, 2025. Mr. K.C. has completed his Ph.D. research under the Supervision of Prof. Dr. Bivek Baral and Joint Co-Supervisions of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bikash Adhikari and Asst. Prof. Dr. Anish Ghimire.

The Ph.D. Defense Seminar (Viva) was evaluated by an Evaluation Committee chaired by the Dean Prof. Dr. Bed Mani Dahal, the Supervisor Prof. Dr. Bivek Baral, Head of Department Prof. Dr. Kumud Raj Kafle, External Examiner Prof. Dr. Sanjay Nath Khanal, Dean's Nominee Assoc. Prof. Dr. Reshma Shrestha and VC's Nominee Prof. Dr. Rijan Bhakta Kayastha.

The final approval of the Ph.D. degree will be done after the incorporation of the comments and suggestions provided by the Evaluation Committee.
