Memorandum of Understanding signed between Harvard University and Kathmandu University
Evidence for Policy Design at Harvard Kennedy School of Government and Kathmandu University (KU) have reached a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote training programs of mutual interest between the two institutions thereby contributing to the advancement and progress of learning. The MOU has been established out of the strong desire of the two institutions to build capacities of policymakers, development agencies, and other practitioners for using data and evidence for policy design in Nepal.
As a part of the academic collaboration, both institutions have consented to cooperate to formalize a sponsored research agreement in support of the policy analysis workshop on ‘Data and Evidence for Good Policy Governance in Nepal’ including other training of shared interest.
Kate Doyle, Director of Evidence for Policy Design, Harvard Kennedy School, USA, and Professor Dr. Ram K.M. Shrestha, Vice-Chancellor, KU signed a deal to this effect on behalf of their respective institutions.
