KURC Wins First Prize

On December 19, 2015, two teams from Kathmandu University Robotics Club (KURC) participated in Yantra 4.0 Art. Tech and Science Festival 2015 all Nepal Robotics Competition jointly organized by Robotics Association of Nepal, Karkhana and Siddhartha Art Foundation at Rajdal Nepal Army Camp in Lalitpur. The project group of Abhishek Bhatta (CE fourth year), Amit Gupta (CE fourth year), Dipak Khadka (ME third year) and Sanjeev Humagain (EE fourth year) secured first position under the category

Yantra Automatic Akhada

They defeated Advanced College of Engineering and Management on the tough final. Similarly, the team of Jiten Thapa, Saurav Poudel and Sharayan Khatiwada from EE second year participated in “Yantra Manual Akhada”. The amount of first prize was 50,000.00 NRs.

Prof. Dr. Ramesh Kumar Maskey visited the venue as the mentor of the Club. The Office of the Dean of School of Engineering extends its warm congratulations to KURC for their success.
