KU TTC signed a contract agreement with Banepa Municipality to conduct technical training

On 20 January 2023, Contract Agreement was signed between Kathmandu University Training Centre (KUTTC) and Banepa Municipality. The contract was on providing professional training programs to Banepa Municipality in support of the Enhanced Skills for Sustainable and Rewarding Employment Project phase II (ENSSURE-II) program.

From KUTTC, Associate Director and Administrative Officer were present. From Banepa Municipality, Mayor, Chief Administrative Officer, Ward chairpersons and other officials were present. Dr Diwakar Bista, Associate Director (KUTTC) and Mr Shiva Pradsad Humagain, Chief Administrative Officer, Banepa Municipality, signed the Contract Agreement.

The ward chairman and BM representatives were briefed about the training program, selection procedures and other terms and conditions.

This contract has agreed to start a Skill development board, Level II Training Program of 10 months (1696 hrs.) on “Professional Light vehicle mechanics” and “Professional Building Electrician”. Altogether forty individuals, twenty in each category from Banepa Municipality, will be awarded the training within ENSSURE-II guidelines. The training cost shall be funded by BM and will start within three months from the date of signing.
