Evidence-based planning for the areas of NTIC engagement in the three sectors: Agriculture and Rural Development (ARD), Public Health Related Livelihood(PHL) and Alternative and Renewable Energy (ARE) in Nepal project at School of Engineering, Kathmandu University is looking for the position of Interns to support project activities with the aims to provide services/researches in the above mentioned 3 sectors.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate training, workshops and development programs to meet the identified development needs
  • Prepare technical reports, web content based on project activities
  • Field work, knowledge in qualitative research, AHP Analysis
  • Prepare database of the companies working in the sector of ARD, ARE and PHL sectors
  • IT related activities with the aims to build website/webpages
  • Arrange and organize meetings/workshops
  • Support and undertake tasks assigned by the Principal Investigator as per ToR.

Desired Qualification and Experiences:

  1. Students from undergraduate 4th year and Masters level with background preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering/Science, Computer Engineering/Science, Pharmacy and Public Health.
  2. Excellent Communication/ Writing skills (Both English and Nepali).
  3. Good command over office packages.
  4. Good knowledge in mobile application development and web services technology.
  5. Proficient in Project Documentation and Communication skills.
