Inaugural Ceremony of the Joint KU-NSSU Water Safety-Related Training Program Held on September 12, 2019

The inaugural ceremony of the training program on water rescue and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, jointly organized by Kathmandu University (KU) and Nippon Sport Science University (NSSU) in Tokyo, Japan, was held in the Auditorium Hall of Dhulikhel Municipality Office in Dhulikhel, Kavrepalanchowk on September 12, 2019.

Deputy Mayor of Dhulikhel Municipality Ms. Bimala Sharma Chaulagain, NSSU Dean Prof. Dr. Makoto Yagisawa, KU School of Engineering Dean Dr. Damber Bahadur Nepali, First Secretary at the Japanese Embassy Dr. Yuriko Akiyama, and KU Global Engagement Office’s Prof. Dr. Bim Prasad Shrestha spoke on the occasion. The water safely-related training sessions were led by Prof. Katsuhiro Ogura and his colleagues from NSSU.
