Faculties and Postgrad students from Peking University discuss areas of cooperation

28 April 2017, A group of professors and post-graduate students from Peking University School of Journalism and Communication and faculties of Kathmandu University School of Arts discussed on future possible areas of cooperation between the universities on Monday.

The first meeting of such kind between the faculties of the schools was possible when the team from China visited KUSOA premise and took the initiation. The team proposed KUSOA to create common research opportunities and platforms and student exchange programs. Similarly, faculties from KUSOA shared that bringing changes in communication policy is the need of the time; particularly to foresee and take proactive decision during and after the period of emergencies like earthquake and alike.

The visiting team was led by Professor. Shi Zengzhi, professor from School of Journalism and Communication at Peking University. Likewise, Dean of School of Arts Dr. Sagar Sharma and Professor Mahesh Banskota from Kathmandu University participated and shared their thoughts during the meeting.
