Dr. Kafle and Dr. Acharya Presented Papers in MELOW 2020

Dr. Hem Raj Kafle, Associate Professor and Head, and Dr. Khagendra Acharya, Assistant Professor, at the Department of Management Informatics and Communication, participated in the Nineteenth International Conference of The Society for the Study of the Multiethnic Literatures of the World (MELOW), organized in Punjab University, Chandigarh, India, during 21-23 February 2020. Dr. Kafle presented a research paper titled “Uncovering New Canons in Oral Histories” and Dr. Acharya, “Literature after the Maoist War: Divergent Themes and yet Identical Trajectory.”

Dr. Kafle and Dr. Acharya also took part in one-day International Seminar titled “Stories Across
Borders,” organized by the Faculty of Management and Liberal Arts, Shoolini University, Solan,
on 24 February 2020. They participated in a panel discussion on Nepalese Literature.
