The Department of Management Informatics and Communication (MIC), former Humanities and Management Unit, operates a Guidance and Counseling Cell with an experienced faculty, trained in psycho-social well-being.
The CELL is located above the southern gate of Block 10, at the central campus.
The number of students seeking counseling support has increased substantially in the recent days, with obvious benefits from the service.
Students, you can freely knock at the Cell's door, or call 9810043036 for appointment, especially when you realize your life is not going well with your studies, relationships and issues that you handled so comfortably earlier but have difficulty to tame now.
You may note that meeting a Counselor is not necessarily what most people (mis)understand as seeking cure from serious mental illness. A 'very healthy' person may benefit as much as the one in need of specialized hearing/sharing and follow-up sharing.
MIC is always there to help you for your healthy and productive stay in the University.
