On March 06, 2025, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DoCSE), School of Engineering, Kathmandu University and UBA Solutions: A Monotype Partner Company entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote academia/industry collaboration via internship/traineeship opportunities, student placement, workshop and joint training, guest lectures and workshops.

Signed by Mr. Sanjay Shah, Director of Engineering, UBA Solutions, and Er. Pankaj Raj Dawadi, PhD, Acting, Head of Department, DoCSE, the partnership aims in creating opportunities for learning to the students, and skills development to its staff, and faculties. The MoU initiates opportunities for Internship.Traineeship Opportunities, Student Placement, Joint Training Programs, Guest Lectures, Workshops, Support and Participation in competitions, Technical seminars and Career Guidance Sessions. This initiation fosters a sustainable partnership between both organizations.

The first activity of the MoU will commence within a month via internship placement of final year students from DoCSE in the field of Software Development, Quality Assurance, DevOps and SRE, Database.
