Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Kathmandu University signed Memorandum of Understanding with Swivt Technologies on May 16, 2025 to enhance Academia/Industry Collaboration. As a highlight of the annual event "DoCSE-IT Industry Meet 2025", Swivt Technologies and DoCSE signed a formal memorandum of understanding. The MoU bridges a collaboration for internship placement of undergraduate students of Computer Science and Computer Engineering. MoU also bridges the collaboration via workshop and joint training, guest lectures, workshop, industry insight and knowledge sharing to the undergraduate students.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Subash Shahi Founder and CEO, Swivt Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Rahul Gupta (Witness) Swivt Technologies, and Er. Pankaj Raj Dawadi PhD, Acting Head of Department, DoCSE, Mr. Sanjog Sigdel (WItness), DoCSE. The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof. Dr. Manish Pokharel, Dean, Prof. Dr. Bal Krishna Bal, Associate Dean, School of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Bed Mani Dahal, Dean, School of Science, Faculties from DoCSE and deparmental representatives, HoD from different departments of SoS, SoE, and distinguished industry representatives.
