Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Kathmandu University Signed Memorandum of Understanding with Asterdio Incorporated Private Limited on May 23, 2025 to enhance Academia/Industry Collaboration. The MoU bridges a collaboration for internship placement of undergraduate students of Computer Science and Computer Engineering students. MoU also bridges the collaboration via workshop and joint training, guest lectures, workshop, industry insight and knowledge sharing to the undergraduate students.

The initial internship placement by Asterdio will focus on Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning interns followed by Software Engineering interns.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Rahisha Tamrakar, HR Manager, Asterdio Incorporated Private Limited,  Nuraj Rajbhandari (Witness), and Er. Pankaj Raj Dawadi, PhD, Acting Head of Department, DoCSE, Mr. Sanjog Sigdel (WItness), DoCSE. The MoU was signed in the presence of faculties of DoCSE.
