Delegates from Namseoul University in Cheonan City, South Korea Visit KU

Dr. Tae Hoon Yoon, Dean of International & External Cooperation Affairs, and Dr. Sirjana Thapa, Assistant Professor in the International Graduate School (IGS), at Namseoul University in Cheonan City, South Korea visited Kathmandu University in Dhulikhel, Kavre on August 6, 2019.

During the meeting with KU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha, Registrar Prof. Dr. Subodh Sharma, and other officials at the university, discussions were held on the possible areas of collaboration between the university in South Korea and KU.

Namseoul University, established in 1994 as a private university, has approximately 12,000 students, including graduate students. It offers thirty-four major courses from four different schools and a graduate school. Its College of Health Care and Welfare, which has six academic departments, is one of South Korea's most distinguished higher education programs.
