Curriculum Workshop on “Yogic Sciences and Wellbeing” organized at School of Medical Sciences, Chaukot

On 14 January 2022, a curriculum workshop was organized for "Yogic Sciences and Well-being", a new undergraduate program jointly run by the School of Arts and the School of Medical Sciences at the School of Medical Sciences, Chaukot. The program aims to form a collaborative effort with the physiology, neuroscience and science labs in various academic and pharmaceutical centers around the world in an effort to bridge the traditional knowledge with the latest scientific discoveries.

The Chief Guest of the program was the Honorable State Minister Mr. Umesh Shrestha. Eminent personalities present in the program shared their views on Nepal’s one-of-a-kind program. The workshop was organized to discuss the curriculum and courses that are necessary to create a better value and impact in the international market.

The Honorable State Minister Mr. Umesh Shrestha, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa, the Registrar Prof. Dr. Subodh Sharma, the Founding Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Suresh Raj Sharma, the Controller of Examinations Prof. Dr. Panna Thapa, the Acting Dean of School of Arts Ms. Ekku Maya Pun, the member of the Board of Trustees Prof. Dr. Bhadra Man Tuladhar, Former Dean of School of Medical Sciences Prof. Dr. Narendra Rana, HiCAS Director and Former Dean Prof. Dr. Sagar Raj Sharma, Associate Deans of KUSMS Prof. Dr. Deepak Shrestha, Prof. Dr. Balaram Malla, and Prof. Dr. Manoj Humagain, Former CAO Mr. Mukunda Prasad Upadhyaya and other delegates were present in the program.
